PhD Café: Lunch, Get-Together – and What You Need to Know About the Plagiarism Screening
Join the PhD Café for an informal lunch where you can meet other PhD students, learn about PAUSD (the PhD Association of SDU) and get practical support for your PhD.
We begin with a short presentation on how PhD theses are screened for plagiarism at SDU, a topic many PhD students are worried about, which we will demystify.
Afterwards, lunch will be served, and there will be time to talk with other PhD students, hear about PAUSD, and ask questions in an informal setting.
Library staff will be present in case you have questions about:
• Literature search
• Publishing strategy & submission
• Plagiarism screening
• Researcher ID (ORCID, Pure)
• Open Access & copyright
• Research data management
• AI tools in research
• And more…
Whether you come for the presentation, the practical advice, the lunch or the chance to meet fellow PhDs, the PhD Café is open to PhD students at all stages.
