PhD Café: Exploring Computational Tools for Advancing Your PhD Research - An Introduction to uCloud
Join us on the 13th of December from 14:00 to 15:30 for an enlightening session on leveraging computational tools tailored to enhance your PhD research.

Hosted by Federica Lo, this session will unveil the capabilities of UCloud – an innovative cloud computing technology provided by the SDU eScience Centre.
What is UCloud?
UCloud stands as a dynamic and interactive digital research environment, which provides an intuitive graphical user interface to give easy access to interactive high-performance computing and tools.

Accessible Anywhere: Cloud services (compute and storage) accessible via every type of device, from workstations to laptops and tablets, no need of local software installation.
Collaborative Workspaces: Data can be shared in project workspaces, with restricted access to computational resources and teaching materials.

In collaboration with the eScience Centre and the University Library, this event will equip you with valuable insights and tools to support your research activities The seminar will offer a fundamental introduction to UCloud, encompassing platform access, software utilization, and file and folder management.
