Academic Writing Online

At the university, you are going to write a lot of papers, but what are you actually supposed to show in these texts? In this course, we are looking at the academic paper as a genre based on the learning objectives from the curriculum. You will be introduced to the model of the 5 guiding elements in an academic text from the book The Good Paper, and you will see examples of academic argumentation. We will also talk a bit about how you can read academic texts efficiently.

This course is a general course, so you have to translate it into you field of study yourself, but hopefully it will be easier for you to see, how you work academically in your field.
