Purpose of the webinar

Is to give you the knowledge and tools to master the independent work process with the master thesis.

We will delve into what the university wants you to show with your thesis. We will talk about process management and time management tools. We eventually tie a loop to the collaboration with e.g. your thesis supervisor, with external partners or perhaps with each other if you are making a thesis in a group.

The target group for the Master Thesis Kickstart

Is primarily for those who are about to - or already in the process - of writing a master thesis. If you are writing a bachelor thesis or other major assignment you will also gain from this webinar.

The content of the Master Thesis Kickstart is

From 10-11 am: Presentation by Bjarne who will talk about what a Master thesis is, and what you have to show with it. There will also be small assignments addressing the pentagon model.

From 11am – 1 pm: Is a two-hour workshop with Sigrid who will talk about planning and project management of the thesis. The workshop will include several exercises.

From 1-2 pm: Time for your questions. Bjarne and Sigrid will answer questions and can have a chat with you face-to-face in a virtual room.

You can already test whether you have access to the webinar room. This way you can be sure it works on the day.
