Library event with PAUSD: Science Communication with Lone Frank
Lone Frank is a journalist and scientific writer with a background in research (Ph.D. in neurobiology). She is award-winning for her ability to communicate research, writes in Weekendavisen, and has a weekly radio show about science and culture – ’24 questions for the professor’.
In this presentation Lone Frank will give PhD students and other young researchers inspiration for communicating their own research: Science must be communicated to society, says the mantra, but how do we make sure that the effort is not wasted, and the message isn't harmful?
