You will learn to use the reference tool Endnote, so you can create references manually, download them from various databases, add pdf-files (eg. full text articles) to the references, and use Endnote in Word; adding references in text and auto generating the reference list. 

It is expected that you before hand, has studied the specific reference style you wish to use. The review of Endnote will be based on the APA-style, but rules for specific styles won't be reviewed. Bring your MAC with Endnote installed:

• Students - download from Blackboard under My Page --> the tab Software. Follow the instructions on the screen carefully or follow this guide: http://www.sdu.dk/da/bibliotek/studerende/referer+korrekt/referencehaandteringsvaerktoejer/endnote-mac .
• Employees - contact IT-service or install via the Software Center on your computer.

The course is targeted MAC users, who wish to work with references using Endnote. PC users are advised to register the Endnote course for PC. 

The course language will be English.
